Here is where you have to
make the hole on the toner hopper of the cartridge for the
refilling.
Plug in the soldering iron tool (the hole maker) and wait
about 3 minutes for it to heat up. Be careful when handling
this tool, remember is HOT!
| |
Make the hole using the
"HOLE MAKER TOOL" provided with
your tonerkit. (If necessary )
| |
Make sure that you remove
the circular piece of plastic from the center of the bit as
shown here.
If the circular piece of plastic falls inside of the toner
hopper of the cartridge, you have to make sure that you will
remove it, since it will cause printing problems and possibly
damage to the toner cartridge if left inside of the toner
hopper.
| |
Gently shake the toner bottle
and tap it on the side. This will help you to refill the cartridge
easier. Open the toner bottle, remove the lid and install
the funnel lid. Insert the funnel cap inside the toner hopper
hole. Gently tap the bottom of the bottle, until the desired
amount of toner is in the toner hopper
(we recommend to use a ½ bottle of toner each time
to avoid overflow or waste of toner in case your toner cartridge
dies) Make sure that you do not press the funnel cap all the
way inside of the toner hopper.
| |
Insert the plug into the
hole and using the pliers grab the center of it and press
it down, then twist it making sure is flushed against the
toner hopper.
| |
This is how your toner cartridge should look like
after you finish. |
| |
Here is where you have to
make the hole on the cartridge for the cleaning.
| |
Make the hole on the dust
bin using the "HOLE MAKER
TOOL" provided with your toner kit. (if
necessary).
| |
Make sure that you remove the circular piece of plastic
from the center of the bit as shown here.
| |
Empty the dust bin by gently
shaking the cartridge inside the box provided with your toner
kit. Your just have to clean the bulk of the toner inside
of the dust bin, you do not have to clean it completely, since
it will always have some toner inside of it in normal working
condition.
| |
After finishing the dust
bin cleaning of the cartridge just place the plug in place.
After completing the above dump the box inside a kitchen plastic
bag, close it and dispose as garbage and you are done!!
| |
The next time that you will need
to refill your cartridge again, just remove the plug, insert the
funnel cap and refill in less than 3 minutes.
